Rules and Regulations

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Any Violations to these policies will result in repossession of golf cart(s)-without refund-and charges will be assessed due to damages.

.1 – Only persons with a valid driver’s license may drive the golf cart(s)

2- No reckless driving (speeding, donuts, driving in deep water/creek, etc.)

. 3-Don’t drive on any public sidewalk, pedestrian walkway, playground, public park, school ground or other public recreational area not designated for motor vehicle traffic.

-4-Golf carts may  move to the right and yield the right of way to faster moving vehicles.

5-Golf carts are considered motor vehicles. Most traffice laws apply to their operations-including open container and DWI laws.

6-While the golf cart is in motion, the driver and every other occupant of a golf cart must remain seated in a seat designed to hold passengers. -No person may ride in the lap of the driver or any other occupant.

7-If you are renting a 4 seater or 6 seater, there is no more people allowed on the cart than how many it is built for.  Example: if you are driving a 4 seater, only 4 people are allowed on that cart.

8-If a cart tips on its side, renter will be charged to cover damages.

9-A $500 fee will be given if the speed governor is tampered with or changed. 

10-If damages to a cart are caused by another vehicle, it is the obligation of the person renting the cart to obtain insurance and license information from the driver, and to file a police and/or insurance report, if needed and/or cover costs.

11-No driving on the freeway or feeder roads.

POSSIBLE EXTRA CHARGES

1-LATE CHARGES: If you return the rentals late, You get the first 15 minutes without a late fee. Every 15 minutes after that, there will be a $25 late fee every 15 minutes after that.

2– TRASH/DIRTY: If there is trash and/or deep dirt/mud all over the rental, there will be a $15 clean up fee. We won’t charge you for regular dirt that can happen during a rental, but if it is all over the cart (like you went on a dirt trail or mudding), we will charge the $15 clean up fee. Salado Golf Cart has the right to determine if the clean up fee is necessary.

3-DAMAGE: If there is any damage to the golf cart(s) while in your possession, , Salad Golf Cart Rentals has the right to charge you for the cart(s) damages to get it fixed.

4-REMOVAL OF RENTAL(S): Salado Golf Cart Rentals has the right to seize the possession of the golf cart(s) rentals that are in your possession at anytime. If anyone from Salado Golf Cart Rentals happen to observe anyone breaking th epolicies and regulations of Salado Golf Cart Rentals, Salado Golf Cart Rentals will seize the cart(s). Salado Golf Cart Rentals will also have the right not to refund costs of the rental(s). If Salado Golf Cart Rentals has to seize the golf cart, there will be a $100 charge for the removal process of the cart(s).

5) VACATE SALADO w/CART(S): If you leave Salado without permission from Salado Golf Cart Rentals with the carts that have been rented from Salado Golf Cart Rentals, there will be a charge of $500 per golf cart rental. By signing below, you agree to the possible extra charges that Salado Golf Cart Rentals has the right to charge.

6- TAMPERING:  A $500 charge will be issued if the speed governor on the golf cart rental is tampered with.
